Sunday Morning Classes
We offer Sunday School classes for youth and children of all ages every Sunday morning from 9:00am-9:45am during the school year!
- High School - Students in the 9th-12th grades study a variety of different topics and Bible Stories throughout the year. These students help to choose the topics that they want to study throughout the year!
- Search for Life (7th/8th) - Students in the 7th-8th grades focus on this very important time in their lives when they are able to be confirmed as full members of the United Methodist Church. New this year: Associate Pastor Julie and Co-teacher Nic will be using the Confirm curriculum, which guides youth through two years of studying theology, beliefs and practices of the UMC, spiritual growth and exploration, and Christian discipleship. The class has several opportunities throughout the year to "Ask the Senior Pastor Anything," meet with mentors, participate in service projects and fundraisers, and attend our annual "Search for Life Retreat" in Estes Park.
- Connect (5th/6th) - Students in the 5th-6th grades study a curriculm called "Connect" by Sparkhouse that is specifically designed for pre-teens. Throughout the two years, they take an in depth look at the Bible in chronological order. Each lesson consists of a short video, discussions, scripture reading, and an activity/craft.
Youth Bell Ringers
As part of the Sunday School hour during the school year, students in the 5th-8th grades are highly encouraged to join the Youth Bell Ringers from 9:00am-9:15am in the sanctuary! This class has a lot of fun with their Bell Ringers Director, Mrs. Shuman, and learn to play beautiful arrangements on the hand bells.
UMYF (United Methodist Youth Fellowship) - (a.k.a. Youth Group)
UMYF meets every Wednesday evening during the school year!
Each week we enjoy hangtime, games, and snacks for the first 1/2 hour. Then, we have a contemporary worship, followed by a short lesson, and breakout into age-based small groups!
We also participate in several small and large events throughout the year, fundraisers, and service projects! ALL 5th-12th grade youth are invited to join us!
